She has played in It's a Bird..It's a Plane...It's Superman (Lois Lane), My Fair Lady (Mrs. Pierce) and Hot l Baltimore (Mrs. Oxenham). She’s a founding member of the Brookline Community Theater. She is a retired teacher.
Billie Jean King
She is a sculptor, graphic designer & an entrepreneur. She created ArtMatters, an art awareness program designed to bring the museum to seniors and students. She is eternally grateful to her “fore-mothers” and is well aware that they “did it for her”.
Mary Kay Ash
She has been singing publicly for many years. Most recently, she sang with the Windsor Community Chorale and St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Choir.
She has played in An American Daughter (Judith Kaufman), Sisters Rosensweig (Pfeni) and Lend Me a Tenor (Sophia) with Spotlight Players. She’s a costume designer for a children's troupe and has a BA in Theater (UMass).
She loves jazz music, theater, and movies. She is a licensed clinical social worker, and she is delighted to be in this production.
She performs and teaches Polynesian dance. She is a retired dental hygienist/college professor who works with Parents of Teens in the area of effective parenting. She is a Prayer Practitioner at the Center for Spiritual Living in Costa Mesa.
She was a theatre major at UCSB and studied at HB Studios in NYC, danced in Vegas and NY where she marched in the 1971 Women's Day Parade. She worked in the music industry managing Roy Ayers and Freddie Hubbard.
She is a member of the Church of the Advent choir, Medfield. She loves art, music and theater. “I am delighted to work with such an amazing group of women.”
She is a Montessori educator. She performed in a local college production. She sings with Carolyn McDade alum singers who sing songs for social justice. She also is in a drumming group.
She holds a doctorate in counseling psychology. She was a Vice President at Irvine Valley College and the Provost at the Pacific Coast Campus of Long Beach City College. She is happy to volunteer for this play.
Anne Hutchinson, Bella Abzug
She earned her Ph.D. in Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate Inst. She is the Founder of Precious Child Enterprises and an OC Montessori School. She’s a published poet and author. Anne has performed in community theatre and volunteers as a Special Advocate for the OC Foster Care System.
Alice Paul, Gloria Steinem
She is an author, speaker, and workshop facilitator. Her holistic healing practice includes: hypnotherapy, meridian tapping, guided imagery, NLP and meditation. She is also the author of Wake Up, American Women.
She has performed in six musicals through Natick Drama Workshop, including The Lady Pirates Of Captain Bree (Molly) and The Wild, Wild, Wildest West (Pamela Barnes).
Fannie Lou Hamer
She is a visual artist, writer, activist, and poet. She has done background acting in movies, as well as voice-over work. Her poetry performances can be found online through Dedham TV.
She enjoys singing and when she discovered this production she just had to audition. She would like to thank the theatre family for welcoming her.
She has performed in Baltimore in H.M.S. Pinafore with Young Victorian Theatre Company and Bye Bye Birdie with Liberty Showcase. In MA, she performs with the Spotlight Players and studies voice at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts.
She has been featured in the Boston Blues Society’s Ladies of the Blues Events. She has performed at the Homegrown Coffeehouse, the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, Serendipity, Beatniks, and was seen in Smokey Joe’s Cafe.
She has performed in Play It Again, Sam (Linda), An American Daughter (Lyssa), Sisters Rosensweig (Sarah), Little Women (Aunt March), Alice and Wonderland (Queen of Hearts). She’s a historical guide on Boston’s Freedom Trail, and a retired superindendent
She is a founding member of UMOJA which performs at International Women's Day, AIDS Awareness Day, MLK birthday and Black History Month programs. She has acted in various shows, and was a private school teacher and principal.
She played in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania), Henry V (Catherine), and Aria da Capo (Columbine) in college. She has performed with the Trinity Square Repertory Company and The Barrington Players.
